Dear friends and colleagues,

This site is about Replication, Recombination and Repair (known as 3R), which are three important processes involved in genomic integrity and evolution.  I’m interested in studying Replication, Recombination and Repair. Therefore, I’m creating this site, 3RHow.com, and really hope that it will be helpful for all of us.

I would like to design this site for everyone, 3R people, people in other fields, or even high school students. Therefore, in each subject, you can find the posts from basic to complicated level. From my reading skill, I will divide the things into short posts, not to write the post too long. In addition, besides summaries in mechanism of these three processes, I also create questions existing in each process, or highlight what is well/poorly understood, and try to answer the questions as understandable as possible.

Because I’m mainly working on DNA replication, you will see here I focus on replication rather than recombination and repair. I’m also studying these two processes, hopefully in near future, I can enrich my posts in all 3R equally.

In this site, I also want to post techniques and tips for molecular genetics analysis, including DNA, RNA, protein studies; in vitro/in vivo studies …. I hope it will be useful for you anyway.

As this is the first time I do this kind of work, there maybe some mistakes in both writing skill and scientific points, I am looking forward for your comments or advises.
